Further to the letters of Mr. Arnold Bell and Mr. D. A. J. Bentley, I wish to instance a beautiful Riley I owned long ago—a 1933 12/6 Lynx—which also completely enclosed the hood when not in use, in very similar manner no doubt, to the Rovers mentioned.
I enclose a photograph. There is no doubt that pre-war cars of this type incorporated ingenuity in design, character and beauty of line seldom equalled today. Lately I have been trying to find a Riley Lynx for pleasure and old times’ sake, but have had no luck so far. Perhaps some of your readers can help?
