In the past, astute camerawork has succeeded in transforming many a humdrum F3 race into genuine televisual entertainment. Hence seasonal reviews can be quite dramatic, irrespective of what 20 laps of the Silverstone National circuit might have looked like to you at the time. To be fair, there have been some good scraps in the past couple of seasons, and this includes the best moments from each of last year’s I 5 races, with some notably high

quality on-board footage. This might not have any of the mass-market appeal of the touring car equivalent, but it is simi larly well executed. S A
