Mansell and Unipart

Nigel Mansell’s two sons are to take the first steps in their car racing careers this year and will do so in the colours of Unipart, which backed Mansell Snr”s Formula Three campaign in1979. Leo and Greg Mansell will line up at the same squad. Team SWR, in this year’s Formula BMW Championship, which kicks off at Brands Hatch as a support to the touring car series opener on April 9. The 2006 season boasts a bumper crop of British ‘sons of’: Alex Brundle and Jolyon Palmer (both aged 15) will be team-mates in the T-Sport saloon series, while Henry Surtees races in Ginetta Juniors.
