W. O. BENTLEY HONOURED
Lord Craigntyle gave a private luncheon at the Savoy on July 10th to celebrate the showing of the V/2 Lagondas at Le Mans. W. 0. Bentley was prescntcd with a gold fountain pen.
AN APPEAL WON
W. E. Wilkinson was excluded at Shelsley Walsh, where he made fastest time with an unblown car, handling Whitworth’s Riley, on the grounds that he had not entered the car. Be was permitted to drive by the Stewards, but
afterwards excluded. Assisted by the B.R.D.C., Wilkinson appealed to the A.I.A.C.R. and has won his appeal.
