It’s the subtitle which best describes this one: The Sidescreen TR Compendium. This is no history, but a detailed collection of TR2, 3 and A/B facts, figures, lore, interviews, gen, reprints and ephemera collated by the TR Registrar. Piggott has talked at length with Ken Richardson and others involved at Triumph for first-hand information but includes the views of the press at the time and much coverage of competition endeavours. Tuning gear, accessories, advertising — there’s a wealth of material here which will be much appreciated by the TR lover who has already read the set texts. G C
