Nobuhiko Kawamoto has been made an honourary Knight of the British Empire.

The former president and CEO of the huge Honda company was the driving force behind the marques participation in formula One and is renowned both for his love of the sport of motor racing and the industry, as well as for having been a staunch Anglophile for many years.
