Madness on Wheels

July 7, 2014

A new TV documentary captures the ferocity and danger of one of rallying’s most extreme eras

If you picked up this issue early enough you might be able to catch the screening of Madness on Wheels on BBC4 on April 1 at 9pm.

It’s a film about Group B rallying, and a great little one at that. It focuses largely on the extreme power and the inherent danger of the 600bhp machines, but with one-on-one interviews with the likes of Walter Röhrl, Ari Vatanen and Jean Todt, and great period footage, it makes for compelling viewing.

If you missed it then there’s always the DVD here: www.madnessonwheels.com
