That Aston Martin-AC Special
In reply to E. S. Taylor’s letter. I have seen his Aston Martin-AC, have a copy of The Autocur for 28-5-43 with his car’s description, and I too competed at Filton in 1945. The body of that car is from a 1931/2 Aston Martin “Le Mans. two-seater, not a replica but a standard production model. Listed, catalogued and sold as the “Le Mans. nvo-seater sports model, shown at Olympia; and, according to the very, knowledgeable Inman Hunter, only five were made.
I knew three of those cars; they had doors and only one fuel filler.! have written an article un one of those cars and in due course it will be published in a complementary journal, satin a seal journal, for MOTOR SPORT has no rival production — “MS. stands alone.
