Redman tests new Lola T70

December 19, 2014

two Lola T70 continuation models made a joint US debut in September at the Zippo Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen. The latest T70 Spyder model was just readied in time to be flown to the US, where it joined the T70Mk3B continuation car owned by Hobart Buppert. While Buppert raced his car for the first time, Brian Redman (above) was on hand to drive the Spyder in a 20-car Lola demonstration to mark the company’s 50th anniversary.

“It was a good time to show the car and we’re very encouraged,” said Lola’s Glyn Jones of the Spyder. To date, six Mk3B continuation cars have been built to order.
