F1 goes Goodwood

David Coulthard, Rubens Barrichello and Johnny Herbert will compete in the Tourist Trophy Celebration, at Goodwood’s Revival in September.

Damon Hill is already confirmed to share Nick Mason’s Ferrari 250 GTO while Sir Jack Brabham, Phil Hill and John Surtees are expected. Martin Brundle and Bob Bondurant have been invited.

Derek Bell and Jacky Ickx are expected to share a Ferrari, and Patrick Tambay, Michele Alboreto, Gerhard Berger, Stefan Johansson and Bobby Rahal are probable starters.

Brabham will also pilot John Coombs’ Cooper T53 while Bell is back in Steve O’Rourke’s T51. Vern Schuppan is to drive Classic Team Lotus’ 49 in the post ’66-’69 wingless race.
