Onboard a Sauber C11 at Le Mans

Tackling the Porsche Curves at Le Mans is a daunting job at the best of times, never mind when you’re behind the wheel of a Sauber-Mercedes C11 and you have a blow-out as you approach them.

This is exactly what happened to Group C racer and promoter Bob Berridge in qualifying for this year’s Le Mans Legends race.

It’s worth keeping an eye on the speedo when he’s heading down the Mulsanne – the needle has to stop at 300kph, but the digital display just keeps on climbing…
