Changwon was a semi-permanent circuit that held South Korea’s first international race from 1999 to 2003. That was the end-of-season Formula 3 Korean Super Prix that was staged for five years in the week after Macau. The circuit was a combination of public streets and permanent hairpins through a series of sports stadia to the northeast of central Changwon City.
