Interseries revival continues in Proto 70s

July 7, 2014

Masters Historic Racing is continuing its Interserie revival initiative through a link up with the Proto 70s category this season. The aim is to build on the pilot race run at Donington Park last summer and encourage the Interserie cars to take on the 2- and 3-litre Proto 70s machines. “We were delighted with the response to the revival race and aim to build on that,” said series boss Christopher Tate.

In addition, the Masters organisation has added a class for up to 1-litre Hillman Imps to its pre-66 Mini Masters series for 2010.

Here is a man who goes racing every weekend from March to October. Paul’s passion for the sport goes back to when he was a child of the 1960s. He has organised, competed in and marshalled on scores of events, and has written about the subject for 20 years. He is as at home in the paddock at Brands Hatch as in a Welsh forest or at Shelsley Walsh.
