Prized Brooklands trophies on offer

The Brooklands Society will present two period trophies at the end of 2010 for the best performances by genuine Brooklands cars across the VSCC competition season. One trophy will be for races and one for speed events, with both decided on handicap results.

The race award will be the cup won by Harry Rose in the May 1936 International Trophy at Brooklands, and the speed events cup is the team prize trophy presented at the May 1935 International Trophy to Doreen Evans.

The Motor Sport Brooklands Trophy, for the best overall performance in a season, went to Mac Hulbert during the Spring Start meeting at Silverstone.
